2008 Cadillac CTS Window Regulator

You need to remove the rear door trim panel.

First, you need to remove the door trim panel and the water deflector. Then, please tape the window in the full-up position and loosen the window clamp nuts 4 revolutions through the access holes in the inner door panel. You also need to connect the door trim panel wiring harness and lower the window regulator 3/4 of the way down. Finally, you should disconnect the electrical connector from the window regulator motor, remove the window regulator bolts and remove the window regulator from the door.

First, you need to install the window regulator, and the window regulator bolts and remove the tape from the window. Then, please lower the window into the window regulator clamps. The glass must be fully rearward into the window channel when it is seated in the window clamps. You also need to connect the power window motor electrical connector, start the vehicle and raise the window to the full-up position. Finally, you should check for proper window operation and a tight seal, shut off the vehicle and install the water deflector and the door trim panel.

The recommended torque is 9 N.m (80 LB IN).

Then, please connect the door trim panel wire harness connector and loosen the window regulator to the window clamp nuts 4 revolutions. Finally, you should use the power window switch to lower the window regulator about 1/2 way down and disconnect the electrical connector from the power window motor.
