2008 Cadillac CTS Washer Fluid Level Sensors

First, you need to open and support the hood. Then, please remove the front compartment side sight shield on the passenger side of the engine compartment and place a clean suitable container under the vehicle to contain any windshield washer fluid loss when the washer hoses are disconnected. Finally, you should disconnect the 2 electrical connectors at the windshield washer solvent heater assembly.

You need to remove the right front wheelhouse extension.

The recommended torque is 9 N.m (80 lb in).

First, you need to place a clean suitable container under the washer container to secure spillage when removing the level indicator from the windshield washer solvent container. Then, please disconnect the electrical connection at the windshield washer level indicator and use two flat-bladed tools placed under the tab on the level indicator to gently pry outward to release the level indicator from the washer container grommet. Finally, you should remove the level indicator and contain the windshield washer solvent and discard the old windshield washer level indicator grommet.
