Q: How to remove the Camshaft Cover-Right Side?
A:
First, you need to remove the engine cover, remove the upper intake manifold with the lower intake manifold and disconnect the ignition coil electrical connectors. Then, please remove the wiring harness from the side of the camshaft cover by sliding the conduit down and outboard, remove the wiring conduit retainers from the camshaft cover by rotating the wiring harness conduit retainers counterclockwise, remove the wiring harness from the front of the camshaft cover and reposition and secure the wiring harnesses away from the camshaft cover to provide clearance. Finally, you should remove the ignition coils, remove the camshaft cover, and remove and discard the camshaft cover seal and grommets.

First, you need to remove the intake manifold, the fuel pipe shield, and the crankcase ventilation pipe and disconnect the ignition coil electrical connectors. Then, please remove the wiring harness from the side of the camshaft cover by sliding the conduit down and outboard, remove the wiring conduit retainers from the camshaft cover by rotating the wiring harness conduit retainers counterclockwise and disconnect the camshaft position sensors and camshaft actuator valve electrical connectors. Finally, you should reposition and secure the wiring harnesses away from the camshaft cover to provide clearance, remove the ignition coil bolts, the ignition coils, and the camshaft cover, and remove and discard the camshaft cover seal and grommets.
