2008 Cadillac CTS Fuel Line

First, you need to relieve the fuel system pressure, remove the fuel pipe retaining clip from the fuel pipe, disconnect the fuel pipe from the fuel rail, disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge line from the purge solenoid and raise and support the vehicle. Then, please disconnect the fuel pipes from the fuel filter and the fuel tank bundle, pull the locking mechanism outward to disengage the fuel/brake bundle chassis pipe retainers from the rail, open the retainers located at the forward portion of the rail and remove the chassis hose/pipes from the retainers located at the rearward portion of the rail. You also need to pull down to disconnect the fuel/brake bundle chassis pipe retainer from the underbody, remove the bolt securing the fuel filter bracket to the body, remove the EVAP hose from the fuel filter bracket and remove the bolts securing the transmission support to the underbody, from the right side only. Finally, you should pull the right side transmission support down only enough to allow removal of the chassis fuel hose/pipes, partially lower the hoist only enough to simultaneously gain access to both the front and rear portions of the chassis fuel hose/pipes, and guide the chassis fuel hose/pipes down through the engine compartment, removing from the bottom with the aid of an assistant.

First, you need to ensure that the fuel feed pipe and fuel pump fittings are clean and dry and position the fuel feed pipe to the cylinder head and high-pressure fuel pump. Then, please install the fuel feed pipe fitting to the high-pressure fuel pump, hand-tight and install the fuel feed pipe bolts and connect the fuel feed line quick-connect fitting to the fuel feed pipe. Finally, you should inspect for leaks, and install the low-side fuel pressure service port cap, the fuel tank cap, the radiator surge tank outlet pipe, the high-pressure pump shield, and the fuel injection sight shield.

First, you need to remove the cross-vehicle brace and the fuel injection sight shield. Then, please remove the fuel pipe shield to the intake manifold bolts and remove the fuel pipe shield to the cylinder bolt. Finally, you should remove the fuel pipe shield from the vehicle.

First, you need to remove the fuel tank. Then, please disconnect the fuel lines from the primary fuel tank module. Finally, you should disconnect the hoses from the retaining feature at the fuel tank.

First, you need to remove the fuel injection sight shield, and the high-pressure pump shield and relieve the low-side fuel system pressure. Then, please remove the radiator surge tank outlet pipe, disconnect the fuel feed line quick connect fitting from the fuel feed pipe and loosen the fuel feed pipe fitting to the high-pressure fuel pump. Finally, you should remove the fuel feed pipe bolts from the cylinder heads and remove the fuel feed pipe from the engine and high-pressure fuel pump.
