First, you need to install the Starter heat shield bracket to the stud located at the engine block, install the nut securing the starter heat shield bracket to the engine block, install the starter heat shield bracket to the stud located at the rear of the starter motor and install the nut securing the starter heat shield bracket to the starter. Then, please position the starter heat shield to the starter motor and brackets. Finally, you should install the bolt/nuts securing the starter heat shield to the starter motor and brackets, install the right catalytic converter, and connect the battery negative cable.

First, you need to disconnect the battery negative and positive cables from the battery, depress the tabs to remove the cover from the electrical center, and remove the nut securing the battery positive cable to the electrical center. Then, please reposition the protective boot from the generator output BAT terminal for access, remove the generator output BAT terminal nut and disconnect the battery positive lead from the generator and remove the starter terminal nut and disconnect the battery positive cable from the starter. Finally, you should lower the vehicle and remove the battery positive cable from the engine.

First, you should slide the new battery current sensor up onto the negative battery cable. Then, please use new tie straps and electrical tape to attach the battery current sensor to the negative battery cable. Finally, you can install the negative battery cable and connect the I/P harness electrical connector to the battery current sensor.
