2008 Buick LaCrosse Power Steering Reservoir

Tighten the remote power steering reservoir bolt to 18 Nm. Plug or cap the hose between the power steering pump and the reservoir.

Fil pump reservoir with fluid to the minimum system level and raise the vehicle until the front wheels are off the ground. Verify the power steering fluid level per operating specifications and start the engine. Finally, verify the fluid level.

First, lubricate the new O-ring seal with power steering fluid and install the O-ring seal onto the neck of the reservoir. Next, install the reservoir onto the hydraulic pump assembly and align the feet of the reservoir with the sides of the hydraulic pump housing. After that install the new reservoir retaining clips.
