Start with removing the front door trim panel. Next, remove the front door water deflector, the locking paw retaining clip, the lock cylinder paw, and the lock cylinder from the outside door handle.

You will need to install the lock cylinder into the outside door handle, the lock cylinder paw, the lock cylinder paw retaining clip, and the front door outside handle. inspect for proper function and install the front door water deflector and door trim panel.

First, apply heat to the cylinder area with a heat gun. Use a paper clip or a similar item to hold the shutter door open. Next use compressed air and a blow gun attachment to force air into the cylinder. Then while holding the shutter door open, inject a small amount of multi-purpose lubricant. Work the key into the cylinder several times until the door opens.
