Q: What is the removal procedure for the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve?
A:
The procedure is to remove the fuel injector sight shield, disconnect the chassis evaporative emission (EVAP) pipe quick-connect fitting from the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve, the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve and the EVAP canister purge tube quick-connect fitting from the upper intake manifold, remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve bracket bolt and the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve (w/bracket) and EVAP canister purge tube, and then disconnect the EVAP canister purge tube quick connect fitting from the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve.

A:
You can connect the EVAP canister purge tube quick connect fitting to the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve, position the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve bracket to the upper intake manifold, install the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve bracket bolt, connect the EVAP canister purge tube quick connect fitting to the upper intake manifold, the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve and the chassis EVAP pipe quick connect fitting to the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve, and then install the fuel injector sight shield.
