Q: How do you install the Upper Intake Manifold?
A:
You need to install the upper intake manifold gaskets to the lower intake manifold and install the fir tree retainers to retain the upper intake manifold gasket position and the upper intake manifold, apply thread lock to the bolt threads, install the throttle body, the intake manifold tuning valve and the EVAP purge solenoid valve, connect the map sensor electrical connector, install the engine harness bracket retaining bolt, connect the ETC electrical connector, install the brake booster vacuum hose to the intake manifold, connect the intake manifold tuning valve electrical connector, the PCV line to the top of the intake manifold and the EVAP canister purge line, and then install the intake manifold insulator, the air cleaner outlet duct, and the fuel injector sight shield.

Q: How do you remove the Upper Intake Manifold?
A:
You need to remove the fuel injector sight shield, the air cleaner outlet duct, and the intake manifold insulator, disconnect the evaporative emissions (EVAP) canister purge line and reposition aside, the PCV line from the top of the intake manifold, and reposition aside and the intake manifold tuning valve electrical connector, remove the brake booster vacuum hose from the intake manifold, disconnect the electronic throttle control (ETC) electrical connector, remove the engine harness bracket retaining bolt, disconnect the map sensor electrical connector, and then remove the upper intake retaining bolts, the evaporative emissions (EVAP) purge solenoid valve, the intake manifold tuning valve, and the throttle body.
