Q: How do you install the Engine Control Module?
A:
You can position the ECM bracket and install the bolts, install the ECM onto the ECM bracket support tabs and snap the ECM into place under the retaining tab, connect the engine wiring harness upper electrical connector to the ECM, install the engine wiring harness clip to the ECM bracket tab, connect the engine wiring harness middle and lower electrical connectors to the ECM and the negative battery cable, and then reprogram the ECM.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the Engine Control Module?
A:
The procedure is to remove and turn the ignition off, retrieve the percentage of remaining engine oil and the remaining automatic transmission fluid life, record the remaining engine oil and the remaining automatic transmission fluid life, disconnect the negative battery cable and the engine wiring harness middle and lower electrical connectors from the ECM, remove the engine wiring harness clip from the ECM bracket tab, disconnect the engine wiring harness upper electrical connector from the ECM, lift the retaining tab and lift the ECM up and out of the support brackets on the ECM bracket, and then remove the ECM bracket bolts and bracket.
