You can install the coil spring and upper strut mount to the J 45400, turn the spring compressor forcing screw until the coil spring is compressed, install the strut to the coil spring and upper strut mount and the strut retaining nut, hold the strut shaft, install the upper strut mount nut, remove the strut from the J 45400, and then install the strut to the vehicle.

A:
The procedure is to raise and support the vehicle, remove the rear tire and wheel, position an adjustable jack stand under the lower control arm, remove the lower stabilizer shaft link bushing, nut, and the lower shock absorber bolt, and the lower bolts from the knuckle, and then lower the vehicle until the rear spring, insulator, jounce bumper, and the spring seat can be removed.

You can position the spring seat, jounce bumper, rear spring, and the insulator on the lower control arm, raise the lower control arm until the lower bolts for the knuckle can be installed, remove the adjustable jack stand, install the lower stabilizer shaft link bushing and nut, the lower shock absorber bolt and the rear tire and wheels., and then remove the support and lower the vehicle.
