Q: How do you install the Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable?
A:
You can install the transmission range selector lever cable to the vehicle, the transmission range selector lever cable grommet to the cowl panel, the transmission range selector lever cable to the cable bracket, and the retainer to the transmission range selector lever cable connect the transmission range selector lever cable terminal to the transmission manual shift lever pin, install the transmission range selector lever cable to the transmission control lever base, connect the transmission range selector lever cable terminal to the shift lever pin, install the floor console left extension panel, adjust the automatic transmission range selector lever cable, and then release the parking brake.

Q: How do you remove the Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable?
A:
You can apply the parking brake and chock the wheels, remove the floor console left extension panel, disconnect the transmission range selector lever cable terminal, release the transmission range selector lever cable retainer and remove the transmission range selector cable from the transmission control lever base, disconnect the transmission range selector lever cable terminal, remove the retainer, press the locking tabs inward to release the transmission range selector lever cable from the cable bracket, and then remove the transmission range selector lever cable grommet and the transmission range selector lever cable.

Q: How do you adjust the Range Selector Lever Cable?
A:
You need to set the park brake and chock the wheels, verify the transmission range select lever is in the park position and the transmission manual shift lever is in the park position, release the range select cable adjuster clip, slide the two halves of the range select cable together until all free play is removed, depress the adjuster clip locking the adjuster clip completely, pull both halves of the range select cable in opposite directions to verify the cable adjuster is secured, and then check the transmission range select lever in all gear selections for proper operation.
