The procedure is to raise and suitably support the vehicle, and then remove the drive belt, the clutch plate retaining bolt, the clutch plate assembly, the clutch hub/bearing snap ring, the clutch hub/bearing assembly, the clutch coil harness retainer, the snap ring from the clutch coil and the clutch coil from the A/C compressor.

Q: How do you install the compressor clutch assembly?
A:
You can install the clutch coil, the snap ring, the clutch coil harness retainer, the clutch hub/bearing assembly, and the clutch hub/bearing snap ring, place a small amount of oil on the thinnest air gap shim and place it inside the clutch plate, install the clutch plate assembly, measure the air gap between the pulley and the drive plate, adjust the shims to achieve a 0.35-0.65 mm (0.014-0.026 in) air gap, install the clutch plate retaining bolt and the drive belt, and then lower the vehicle.
