Q: What should be done to service the windshield moisture sensor?
A:
You can hold the moisture sensor in the left or right hand, release the 3 clips securing the lens to the sensor, be careful when disengaging the sensor and the lens cover, and keep the sensor electronics free from any dirt, debris, or foreign material while open and then discard the old moisture sensor lens.

Q: What should be done to service the windshield moisture sensor lens cover?
A:
You can remove the old conductive jell residue, remove the plastic protective covering from the lens and then connect the electrical cover.

Q: What should be done to service the windshield outside moisture sensor?
A:
You can gently pry the trim cover outward, disconnect the electrical connector, disengage the retaining clips from the mounting bracket on the windshield, disengage the rain sensor lens from the module and then clean the windshield where the old conductive jell residue is present.
