The procedure is to grasp the shift cable shifter end, align the outside diameter of the transmission end, push the end of the transmission cable, release the transmission end, pull the white cover, push the natural-colored lock button, release the white cover, verify the white cover conceals the natural-colored lock and then test the transmission for proper shift operation.
