You should raise and support the vehicle, remove the propeller shaft, support the transmission with a suitable jack, remove the transmission mount assembly and then remove the transmission extension housing assembly.

You should use the J 45000 seal remover, lubricate the seal with clean transmission fluid, and then use the J 38693 seal installer.
