2007 GMC Sierra 3500 Classic TPMS Sensor

You shall insert the sensor in the wheel hole with the air passage facing away from the wheel, install the sensor nut, position the sensor body parallel to the inside wheel surface while torquing, install the tire/wheel assembly on the vehicle, and learn the tire pressure sensors.

The proper way is to remove the tire/wheel assembly from the vehicle, the tire from the wheel, and the tire pressure sensor.

You shall install a scan tool, turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF, select Vehicle Control System, Module Setups, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver, Tire Type/Pressure Selection, P-Metric Standard, and the front tire pressure as noted on the vehicle drivers door placard sticker and the rear tire pressure as noted on the vehicle drivers door placard sticker, verify the selections made are correct and press the enter key, and press the exit key to escape.
