Q: How to remove the automatic transmission shift lock actuator?
A:
The proper way is to disable the SIR system, remove the knee bolster, put the shift lever clevis into the neutral position, disconnect the electrical connector, pry the automatic transmission shift lock control actuator away from the steering column jacket, and the cable shift cam, and remove the shift lock control actuator.
