2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Exterior Door Handle

First, install the lock cylinder retainer clip to the door handle and the front door handle rod. Install the front outside door handle door and bolts. Tighten the front door outside door bolts to 10 Nm. Next, install the front door outside handle lock cylinder and a new outside handle rod-to-lock clip onto the door lock lever.

Place the window up and remove the front door trim panel. Next remove the front door trim panel, the front door water deflector, and the front door rear window channel bolt. Remove the outside door handle and the front door outside handle lock cylinder. After that remove the hole plug to access one of the two bolts that attach the outer door handle and the front door outside door handle from the door. Finally, remove the front door outside door handle rod from the handle.
