FAQ for Steering Shaft Repair
Q: How do I install the Intermediate Steering Shaft?
A:
Start with installing the intermediate shaft/seal through the front of the dash, then seat the intermediate shaft seal by pushing it forward from the inside, until all four tabs of the seal are fully seated. Connect the new intermediate shaft to the steering column shaft and install the new steering column pinch bolt to the intermediate shaft. Then connect the shaft to the steering gear shaft and install the left front wheel.
