Q: How to install the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve?
A:
You may need to position the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve on the intake manifold, install the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve bolt and tighten the EVAP canister purge valve retaining bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in), then connect the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve hose/pipe and the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve electrical connector.

A:
You will need to turn OFF the ignition, then disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid valve electrical connector and the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve hose/pipe, then remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve retaining bolt, and remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve from the intake manifold.
