2007 Chevrolet Equinox Brake Booster

You may need to install the foam insulator the vacuum brake booster, the brake booster, the booster mounting nuts, the foam washer, and the brake booster push rod retaining clip, then tighten the vacuum brake booster mounting nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb-ft), then install the brake pressure modulator valve bracket, the brake pressure modulator valve assembly, the vacuum booster check valve and hose assembly and the coolant surge hose and clamp, next install the underhood electrical center.

You will need to remove and position aside the underhood electrical center, then remove the master cylinder mounting nuts, then disconnect the vacuum booster check valve and hose assembly from the booster, next remove the transaxle control module (TCM) with the bracket from the bracket on the strut tower and position aside on top of the engine, then remove the brake pressure modulator valve assembly, the brake pressure modulator valve bracket, the brake booster push rod-to-brake pedal retaining clip, the foam washer and the brake booster mounting nuts. Finally, you can disengage the brake booster from the front of the dash and the brake pedal bracket.
