A:
You will need to place a drain pan under the transaxle to catch any spilled transaxle fluid, then remove the right front wheel drive shaft, and remove the transfer case for vehicles equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD). If equipped with an axle seal dust cover, you should discard it and not replace it. Next, you can remove the right drive axle seal from the transaxle using the J 45000, and finally clean the seal bore in the transaxle housing.
