2007 Chevrolet Equinox A/C Receiver Drier

You can recover the refrigerant, remove the front bumper fascia, then remove the bolt retaining the receiver dehydrator mounting clamp to the condenser, the receiver dehydrator mounting clamp, the lower receiver dehydrator bolt, and the receiver dehydrator, then install protective caps to the condenser.

You may need to remove the protective caps from the condenser, then add the specified amount of polyethylene glycol (PAG) oil to the receiver dehydrator, install new O-rings to the receiver dehydrator, install the receiver dehydrator to the condenser, install the lower receiver dehydrator bolt and tighten the bolt to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in), next install the receiver dehydrator mounting clamp and the receiver dehydrator mounting clamp bolt then tighten the bolt to 4.2 N.m (37 lb in), finally install the front bumper fascia, evacuate and charge the A/C system and test the affected A/C joints for leaks using J 39400-A.
