You should place a new Exhaust Manifold gasket onto the cylinder head, next position the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head, and apply thread lock GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) to the exhaust manifold bolt threads, then install the exhaust manifold bolts, and tighten the exhaust manifold bolts in sequence, install the exhaust manifold heat shield, and the exhaust seal.

You should install the Muffler, apply a soapy solution to the inner diameter of the exhaust pipe hanger and the exhaust pipe hanger rod to ease the installation of the hangers, press the exhaust pipe hangers over the exhaust pipe hanger rods, then install the nuts securing the muffler to the catalytic converter, then install the right rear leaf spring bolt and nut, and the lower shock absorber bolts and nuts.

The recommended torque is 9 N.m (80 lb in).
