Q: How to remove the Shift Lever?
A:
You need to disable the SIR system, remove the upper and lower trim covers, remove the wire harness straps from the wire harness assemble, disconnect the shift lever connector at the base of the column, then slide the shift lever seal up the shift lever, remove the shift lever screw from the shift lever assembly, and remove the shift lever and seal from the column, finally remove the shift lever seal from the shift lever.

A:
You should install the shift lever seal onto the shift lever assembly, the shift lever assembly to the steering column, then install the shift lever screw into the shift lever assembly, slide the shift lever seal down the shift lever assembly, install the upper and lower trim covers, and align the shift lever seal into the steering column trim covers, lastly enable the SIR system.
