The procedure is to remove the camshaft cover, the engine front cover, the Timing Chain tensioner, the fixed timing chain guide access plug, the exhaust camshaft sprocket, the intake camshaft sprocket, and the balance shaft drive chain.

The proper way is to inspect the Timing Chain Tensioner, measure the timing chain tensioner assembly, inspect the bore of the tensioner body for dirt, debris, and damage, and install the compressed piston assembly and the camshaft cover.

The proper way is to install the hydraulic lash adjusters, the Camshaft roller followers, the exhaust camshaft, the camshaft sprockets, the upper timing chain guide, the camshaft cover, and the CMP sensor.
