Q: How do you install the valve rocker arm (right side)?
A:
You can apply a liberal amount of lubricant to the roller pivot pocket (2) and valve slot areas of the camshaft followers, place the camshaft followers in position on the valve tip and the SHLA and install the right camshafts.

The procedure is to remove the right camshafts, remove the starter, remove the spark plug, remove the valve locks, remove the Valve Spring retainer and valve spring and remove the seal.

The procedure is to remove the intake manifold sight shield, disconnect the PCV dirty air tube, remove the ignition module, disconnect the cable harness clips at the front of the camshaft cover, remove the bolt connecting the ground strap to the right camshaft cover, remove the camshaft cover bolts, remove the camshaft cover, discard the camshaft cover gasket and spark plug port seals and clean and inspect the camshaft cover.
