A:
Apply pressure only at the end of the liftgate/hood assist rod that you are removing or attaching. Do NOT apply pressure to the middle of the rod because damage or bending will result.

Remove the right front fascia extension, drain the washer solvent into a suitable clean container, disconnect the windshield Washer Pump house, disconnect the windshield washer pump electrical connector, disengage the washer pump, and remove the pump.

The Wiper Blades need to be cycled to the mid-wipe position to prevent the wiper arms from contacting the rear edge of the hood.
