2007 Cadillac STS Timing Chain

You need to remove the engine front cover first.

Remove the spark plugs to ease crankshaft/engine rotation, the engine front cover, the right bank secondary camshaft drive chain tensioner, the right bank secondary camshaft drive chain shoe, the right bank secondary camshaft drive chain guide, the right bank secondary camshaft drive chain, the primary camshaft drive chain tensioner, the primary upper camshaft drive chain guide, the primary camshaft drive chain, the right bank camshaft intermediate drive chain idler, the left bank secondary camshaft drive chain tensioner, the left bank secondary camshaft drive chain shoe, the left bank secondary camshaft drive chain guide, the left bank camshaft intermediate drive chain idler, the left bank secondary camshaft drive chain, and clean and inspect all of the camshaft timing drive components.

You need to install the right bank secondary camshaft drive chain, the right bank secondary camshaft drive chain guide, the right bank secondary camshaft drive chain shoe, the right bank secondary camshaft drive chain tensioner, the spark plugs, and the engine front cover.

Remove the spark plugs to ease crankshaft/engine rotation, the engine front cover, the right bank secondary camshaft drive chain tensioner, the right bank secondary camshaft drive chain shoe, the right bank secondary camshaft drive chain guide, the right bank secondary camshaft drive chain, the primary camshaft drive chain tensioner, the primary upper camshaft drive chain guide, the primary camshaft drive chain, and the right bank camshaft intermediate drive chain idler.
