You need to remove the intake manifold cover and the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer, disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the ignition coil wire harness, remove the engine harness clip from the ignition coil bracket stud, reposition the engine harness, and remove the spark plug wires from the ignition coils, the ignition coil bracket studs, the ignition coil bracket, and the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose. Then you can loosen the valve rocker arm cover bolts and remove the valve rocker arm cover and remove and discard the old gasket.
