Q: How do you remove the automatic transmission shift lock actuator?
A:
You need to disable the SIR system, remove the knee bolster, put the shift lever clevis into the neutral position, and disconnect the electrical connector. Using a small screwdriver, pry the automatic transmission shift lock control actuator away from the steering column jacket and the cable shift cam. Then you can remove the shift lock control actuator.
