Q: How do you remove the Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve (1500 Series)?
A:
You need to disconnect the chassis wiring harness electrical connector from the EVAP canister vent solenoid, disconnect the EVAP canister vent solenoid quick-connect fitting from the EVAP canister and the fuel fill pipe EVAP line quick-connect fitting from the vent solenoid, disengage the retainer securing the EVAP canister vent solenoid to the bracket and remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid.

A:
You need to disconnect the chassis wiring harness electrical connector from the EVAP canister vent solenoid, disconnect the EVAP canister vent solenoid line quick connect fitting from the vent solenoid, disengage the retainer securing the EVAP canister vent solenoid to the bracket and remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid.

You need to install the EVAP canister vent solenoid, slide the EVAP canister vent solenoid onto the bracket until the retainer engages the clip, and connect the EVAP canister vent solenoid line quick-connect fitting to the vent solenoid and the chassis wiring harness electrical connector to the EVAP canister vent solenoid.
