Q: How do you compress the brake caliper pistons?
A:
You need to install a large C-clamp over the top of the caliper housing and against the back of the outboard pad, slowly tighten the C-clamp until the pistons are pushed completely into the caliper bores, and remove the C-clamp from the caliper.

01/11/2022 Q: What is the brake pad and rotor burnishing procedure?
A:
You can select a smooth road with little or no traffic, accelerate the vehicle to 48 km/h (30 mph), apply the brakes to bring the vehicle to a stop, repeat steps 2 and 3 until approximately 20 stops have been completed, and allow sufficient cooling periods between stops to properly burnish the brake pads and rotors.
