Q: How to remove the Constant Velocity Joint Boot?
A:
You can remove the swage ring from the half shaft bar using a hand grinder to cut through the ring, taking care not to damage the half shaft bar, the large seal retaining clamp, the inboard seal from the trilobal tripot bushing, the seal away from the joint along the half shaft bar, the housing, the spacer ring, the spacer ring, and inspect the needle rollers, needle bearings, and trunnion.

You can remove the large seal retaining clamp from the CV joint with a side cutter, the half shaft outboard seal from the CV joint outer race, the grease from the face of the CV joint inner race, the ears on the race retaining ring, the CV joint assembly, the half shaft outboard seal, the old outboard seal, a brass drift against the CV joint cage, the first chrome alloy ball, the inner race, the CV joint assembly, any damaged parts, and clean the half shaft bar.
