2007 Buick Terraza Brake Caliper

You can install the caliper, and the brake caliper bolts, remove the plugs in the brake hose end, assemble the brake hose bolt, remove the nuts securing the rotor to the hub, install the tire and wheel, fill the master cylinder to the proper level, bleed the brake system, and inspect the brake caliper and hydraulic brake system for brake fluid leaks.

You can inspect the fluid level in the brake master cylinder reservoir, remove the tire and wheel, install two wheel lug nuts to retain the rotor to the hub, a large C-clamp, tighten the C-clamp, remove the brake hose bolt and the brake hose, discard the two copper brake hose gaskets, plug the openings in the brake caliper and the brake hose, remove the brake caliper bolts, the brake caliper from the brake caliper bracket, and inspect the brake caliper pin boots.

You can remove the generator front brace nut at the engine intake manifold, the generator bolt, and the generator front brace assembly.

The recommended torque is 25 N.m (18 lb-ft).

You can position the generator front brace assembly to the generator and the engine stud on the engine intake manifold, install the generator bolt, and the generator front brace nut at the engine intake manifold.
