2007 Buick Rendezvous A/C Evaporator Core

You need to install the evaporator temperature sensor to the evaporator core. Then you can install the evaporator core.

You need to remove the evaporator core. Then you can remove the evaporator temperature sensor from the evaporator core.

After removing the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) module assembly, the air inlet housing screws, the air inlet housing, the HVAC module assembly mounting bracket screws, and the HVAC module assembly mounting bracket, you can remove the heater outlet duct, the heater core cover screws, the heater core cover, the heater core pipe retaining screw, and the heater core. Then you need to remove the evaporator core, the evaporator temperature sensor, the thermal expansion valve (TXV) mounting screws, and the TXV.

After installing the TXV, the TXV mounting screws, the evaporator temperature sensor, and the evaporator core, you can align and install the upper module case, the HVAC module assembly retaining screws, the heater core, the heater core pipe retaining screw, the heater core cover, and the heater core cover screws. Then you can install the heater outlet duct, the heater outlet duct screws, the HVAC module assembly, the HVAC module upper retaining screw, the HVAC module assembly mounting bracket and screws. After that you can install the air inlet housing, the air inlet retaining screws, and the HVAC module assembly.
