2007 Buick Rainier Vehicle Speed Sensors

You should remove the harness connector, the bolt, the vehicle speed sensor, and the O-ring seal.

You should ensure that the range selector cable is not restricted, ensure that the floor shift control is in the park position, disconnect the range selector cable from the range selector lever ball stud, ensure that the range selector lever is in the mechanical park position, release the locking tab, squeeze the locking tabs together to disengage the primary lock, pull the primary lock up, spring tension will push the end of the cable past the ball stud, push the end of the cable until it is aligned with the ball stud, install the cable to the ball stud, seat the primary lock by pressing into the locked position, slide the secondary lock over the primary lock, and be sure that the secondary lock tab is securely in place.

You should install the O-ring seal on the vehicle speed sensor, coat the O-ring seal with a thin film of transmission fluid, install the vehicle speed sensor into the transmission case, install the bolt and connect the wiring harness electrical connector to the vehicle speed sensor.
