Q: What is the service procedure for the Floor Shift Control Knob?
A:
Set the parking brake. With the Engine OFF, shift the transmission to Neutral. DO NOT twist or turn the knob during removal or installation, as it will break the spring. To remove, firmly pull the knob up off the shift control lever. To install, firmly push the knob down onto the shift control lever.
