Q: What is the removal procedure for the valve stem oil seal and valve spring?
A:
You need to remove the rocker's arm, disconnect the spark plug wire at the spark plug, loosen the spark plug 1 or 2 turns, brush or air blast away any dirt or debris from around the spark plug, remove the spark plug, install the J 22794, attach an air hose to the J 22794, apply compressed air to the J 22794 to hold the valves, compress the valve spring, remove the valve stem keys, release the valve spring tension, remove the J 38606, the valve spring cap, the valve spring, and the Valve Stem Oil Seal and shim.
Q: How to install the filler tube and seal?
A:
You need to install the transmission fill tube seal and the fill tube, remove the drain pan from under the transmission, install the fill tube bracket nut, lower the vehicle, install the oil level indicator, and fill the transmission to the proper level with Dexron(r) III transmission fluid.
Q: How to remove the spark plug wires from the ignition coils?
A:
You need to twist each plug wire 1/2 turn and pull only on the boot to remove the wire from the ignition coil.
