A:
You need to remove the front fuel tank, disconnect the fuel and evaporative emission (EVAP) lines from the fuel tank module, unlock the fuel sender lock ring, remove J 45722 and the lock ring, lift the fuel tank module from the fuel tank, disconnect the vapor line quick connect fitting to remove the module, remove the module from the fuel tank and the fuel tank module seal and place the lock ring on a flat surface.

A:
You should always replace the fuel sender seal when installing the fuel sender assembly, replace the lock ring if necessary, and do not apply any type of lubrication in the seal groove.

Q: How to install the fuel sender assembly (Dual Tanks-Rear)?
A:
You need to install a new fuel tank module seal onto the fuel tank, position the fuel tank module part way into the fuel tank, connect the vapor line quick connect fittings to the module, install the module into the fuel tank, place the lock ring into position, rotate the lock ring clockwise, connect the EVAP lines to the fuel tank module, and install the rear fuel tank.
