Q: What is the proper way to install the rear frame cushion or insulator?
A:
You can apply lube to the inside surface of the lower insulator and the top surface of the upper insulator, install the upper and lower insulators, raise the rear of the frame, install the rear frame bolts, remove the utility stand, install the intermediate shaft to the steering gear stub shaft and lower the vehicle.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the front frame cushion or insulator?
A:
The procedure is to raise the vehicle, disconnect the steering intermediate shaft, disconnect the fog lamp electrical connectors, remove the frame reinforcement nuts, the frame reinforcement bolts and the frame reinforcements, install a jack stand under the center of the frame, remove the front frame bolts and retainers, lower the front of the frame, remove the frame front upper insulators, install the J 45296, or equivalent and remove the front frame insulator.
