Q: What is the proper way to install the power steering reservoir (off-vehicle)?
A:
You can lubricate the new O-ring seal with power steering fluid, install the new O-ring seal, install the reservoir, align the feet of the reservoir with the sides of the hydraulic pump housing and install the new reservoir retaining clips.

Q: How do you disassemble the power steering reservoir (off-vehicle)?
A:
You can place the hydraulic pump on a fixed, flat surface with the shaft facing upward, insert a screwdriver into the retaining clip tab, force the retaining clip tab outward, slide the reservoir clip away, remove the second reservoir clip, remove the reservoir and remove the O-ring seal.
