2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Mass Air Flow Sensor

You can install a new Throttle Body gasket, position the throttle body to the intake manifold, install the throttle body bolts, connect the EVAP canister purge tube to the throttle body, connect the throttle actuator control motor electrical connector, install the air cleaner outlet duct and the engine sight shield, connect a scan tool, operate the accelerator pedal, monitor the throttle angles and verify the vehicle is not in a reduced engine power mode, that the ignition is ON and that the engine is OFF.

You can install a new Air Filter element, install the air cleaner housing cover, engage the spring clamps on top of the air cleaner housing, and install the air cleaner outlet duct.

The procedure is to remove the engine sight shield, disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector, remove the MAP Sensor and remove the MAP sensor grommet.
