Disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the air cleaner housing, and position the engine control module out of the way.
Q: What is the removal procedure for the Oil Filter and Seal?
A:
Remove the oil pan and the gasket, and remove the filter and the lip ring seal pressed into the case only if replacement is necessary. Inspect the oil pan and the filter for metal particles, clutch-facing material, rubber particles, and engine coolant. Determine the source of the contamination if foreign material is evident. Correct the source of the contamination.
Q: What should be done before servicing the Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe?
A:
Disconnect the transaxle oil cooler outlet hose from the top side of the radiator.
