A:
You should disconnect and inspect the instrument panel/body inline connector, pull upward to disengage the attaching clips, reach under the instrument panel, pull upwards to disengage the additional clips, remove the molding from the vehicle, disconnect the instrument panel/body inline connector, inspect the connector for bent or corroded terminals, remove any bent or corroded pins from the connector, install eh new terminal cut lead, pack the connector terminals, connect the instrument panel/body inline connector and then install the molding.
