The procedure is to remove the spring shackle, remove the spare tire when servicing the left side bushing, and then remove the spring shackle bushing using J21474-01.

A:
The proper way is to install the new spring shackle bushing using J21474-01, pull the spring shackle bushing into the frame rail until the flanged portion of the spring shackle bushing is flush with the rail, install the spare tire when servicing the left side bushing, and then install the spring shackle.
