Q: What is the removal procedure for the electronic brake control module (EBCM)?
A:
The procedure is to remove the electrical connector from the EBCM, remove the brakes pipes from the master cylinder to the EBCM assembly, remove the rear brake pipe from the retainers at the cowl, remove the brake pipes from the EBCM assembly, remove the mounting nuts from the EBCM, remove the EBCM from the vehicle, remove the 4 mounting screws from the ABS module, remove the 4 collars between the EBCM and the BPMV, remove the solenoid plate from the EBCM, remove foreign material from the BPMV assembly, and then remove the old O-rings from the EBCM.
