You should remove the lower shock absorber nuts and bolts and the right rear leaf spring nut and bolt, wedge a block of wood between the frame and the rear axle, remove the nuts securing the Muffler to the catalytic converter, glide the muffler rearward from the catalytic converter, rotate the muffler 90 degrees counterclockwise from the rear and remove the muffler rearward from the vehicle.

You should apply a soapy solution to the frame support bracket rod, the inner diameter of the Exhaust Pipe hanger, and the exhaust pipe hanger rod, and press the exhaust pipe hanger over the frame support bracket rod and the exhaust pipe hanger rod.

You should remove the air cleaner outlet duct, the air cleaner assembly, the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) from the exhaust manifold, the 3 nuts securing the heat shield to the exhaust manifold, and the exhaust manifold heat shield from the exhaust manifold.
