Q: How do you remove the crankshaft rear oil seal and housing?
A:
You should remove the flywheel, the 2 bolts securing the oil pan to the crankshaft rear oil seal housing, and the crankshaft rear oil seal housing bolts, install 2 bolts into the threaded holes to act as jack screws and tighten evenly to release the crankshaft rear oil seal housing from the engine block and oil pan, and remove the crankshaft rear oil seal housing and the 2 bolts from the jack screw holes.

You should remove the crankshaft balancer and pry out the crankshaft front oil seal using a suitable tool.

Q: How do you install the crankshaft rear oil seal and housing?
A:
You should install the crankshaft rear oil seal housing bolts, the 2 oil pan bolts, and the flywheel.

Q: How do you install the crankshaft oil seal?
A:
You should apply the engine oil to the outside diameter of the crankshaft front oil seal, use the J 45951 to install the new crankshaft front oil seal, remove the J 45951 and install the crankshaft balancer.
